Pianobots

Pianobots is game about bots performing a concert on a one-octave piano together. Their timing is perfect, but they are not in tune. Can you make these bots perform in harmony without them clashing onto each other? Will the audience approve?

Made for Ludum Dare 42 and got awarded 3rd place in Innovation.

Pianobots is a crossover project. I invited my partner, who is a musician, to join me on the design of a music-related game. We managed to make the tools to then have her design the levels by composing them.

Composer became the level designer.
